Dark light

Why should I fear the darkness
If I don’t fear the light

What my eyes can’t discern
During night fall,
Shall never ascertain
In the gleaming sunrise

So why love one more
And afflict the other/

The colour of your hair
Suits not your face;
Nor can dawn ever touch
The fairy of dusk.
